Hand-Wound Black Yarn Quill – Sturgeon Moon Charged | Healing, Hope & Balance, Blessed by Green Witch 8/9/25
Each yarn quill is lovingly crafted at The Old Lavender Cottage from 100% recycled cotton yarn/twine, hand-wound around a 3 1/2 inch wooden dowel rod (3/8 inch diameter). The dowels are hand-cut, ends sanded smooth, left unfinished and unsealed for a raw, natural feel.
These quills were wound by hand by the Green Witch herself on the evening of 8/8/25, and rested in the witch’s garden beneath the light of the Sturgeon Moon after her blessing of the quills. The moon’s requested blessing focused on healing (both physical and emotional), hope, and the magic of enough—a plentiful season without excess, just the right amount.
Please note: The yarn may carry tiny bits of the witch’s world—a whisper of lint from her apron, a fleck from the garden, or, if you are truly lucky, a cat’s whisker. Each imperfection is part of its charm and spirit.
